Problem:
This is a design for a coding app for my UX/UI class. Coral Coding is a code-learning app. The objective was to make some sort of language-learning app. I wanted this app to come off as easy to use and friendly for all ages.
Solution:
I wanted the logo to be a crab so that there was a mascot for the app. For the buttons, I took inspiration from the keys on a keyboard. I only wanted to use two colors for this app. I chose an aqua blue and a coral red because they fit with the theme of the app. This was done in Figma and Adobe Illustrator.
Results:
I think that using a crab for the logo makes it more inviting and friendly. Using the two colors made it easy to design the layout without it being overwhelming.
